Luis Ramos Posted July 22 Share Posted July 22 What's going on with the Router ever since the update my router has been acting up. It freezes on me then it boots me out the server. Has anyone been having this problem to? I rebooted so many times and I even reinstall the software update. Is there a patch or something being addressed with this issue? Luis Ramos Posted July 22 Author Share Posted July 22 I have xDefiant on the add games but I don't really play that much just COD.. I did all the correct steps to set up the router. I'm on the web just watching YouTube and it randomly the internet go down and have to wait for it to go back on line as well when I'm playing COD. sometimes it boots me out the server and and tells me to restart the game. Luis Ramos Posted July 22 Author Share Posted July 22 Ok, Hear me out here im not that type of tech guy but wyhen i plug it back the my internert provider i dont get any freezing of booting me out now when i plug it back to the Netduma it will go on fine but then it with in time it will freeze and boot me out. It only really happens on that game for me but it's constant, @Netduma Fraseris there a way to apply GEO filter to all except certain games? or what is the best way to get around it without disabling geo filter for everything? DARKNESS Posted July 23 Share Posted July 23 @kryptik66There no way around it and I don't think they'll be...they admitted it originally it just the way there game is designed is region locked based for some reason therefore only way is to play around using a vpn to change servers. That's why in certain regions the game is dead and users can't do anything about it. I haven't played the game in a while and doubt they've made any drastic changes to that so till they give you the option in game to change servers don't expect much of change it more of a game developer issue. You should be contacting them directly if you want them to change that and the feature which should've been there from the beginning it just another beta game wait 2-3 years for them to add something that should've been there from the start tired of it to be honest. The game freezes up regardless of you not using this particular router just a fact just bad optimization on the game devs...it occurs every time you load into the game or go back to lobby. Yes I understand it's a game server issue, I'm just wondering how you can disable geo filter for Xdefiant only so that it's not going to mess with it further. Geofilter works fine for everything else so I want to know if there is a way of bypassing geofilter for a selected game (xdefiant) or am I going to have to set each game individually. I enabled that and then just enlarged the size of the geofilter so it's not actually filtering anything a few days ago and it does work better, would probably be better off just disabling geofilter at that point. It did still have a disconnect but again that one was probably just a game issue. I'll try geofilter with a smaller area and geo latency on.
