Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 22 Administrators Share Posted June 22 Is it staying on when you're actually playing and off during the lobby for example? If so that would be expected

I'm sitting right beside the router and can see the lights change so I booted up the app and yeah it's completely random on and off. I've factory reset and everything
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 23 Administrators Share Posted June 23 Does it follow any particular pattern such as off when you've died or when there is not much going on gameplay wise etc?
auProspector
I'm noticing the same. No matter what SmartBOOST setting variation I use -- if someone is downloading a big file, like a steam download or console game update, etc -- my in-game ping (Rocket League via desktop/steam for example) will make the game unplayable. Even browsing/streaming can get really bad. How can I make it so large downloads/updates doesn't hog too much bandwidth? I have tried the Ping Optimizer, and while it says it's made big improvements -- in effect it doesn't seem to make any difference. Also I noticed when I'm playing in-game on Rocket League it doesn't show up on Network Activity under gaming. digital_steve

Do you see gaming appearing on the graph when playing? If so it is prioritizing just not showing on the list that it's being detected.
