l2eactionz Posted June 22, 2024 Posted June 22, 2024 Smartboost doesn't keep gaming traffic prioritised just come on and off when it wants xdefiant
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 22, 2024 Administrators Posted June 22, 2024 Is it staying on when you're actually playing and off during the lobby for example? If so that would be expected

I'm sitting right beside the router and can see the lights change so I booted up the app and yeah it's completely random on and off. I've factory reset and everything
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 23, 2024 Administrators Posted June 23, 2024 Does it follow any particular pattern such as off when you've died or when there is not much going on gameplay wise etc?
auProspector Posted July 3, 2024 Posted July 3, 2024 I'm noticing the same. No matter what SmartBOOST setting variation I use -- if someone is downloading a big file, like a steam download or console game update, etc -- my in-game ping (Rocket League via desktop/steam for example) will make the game unplayable. Even browsing/streaming can get really bad. How can I make it so large downloads/updates doesn't hog too much bandwidth? I have tried the Ping Optimizer, and while it says it's made big improvements -- in effect it doesn't seem to make any difference. Also I noticed when I'm playing in-game on Rocket League it doesn't show up on Network Activity under gaming. digital_steve 1

Jake-Scouser Posted July 28, 2024 Posted July 28, 2024 My R3 will not pick up gaming traffic at why is this? I had no problems at all with R2... I have nearly lost all patience with this router I'm seriously close to sending pics of an R3 smashed to pieces if I don't get any help I gifted my R2 to a friend abroad because I believed in NetDuma's products... majorly disappointed with my R3 Pre Order I'll be more patient with my money next time

Do you see gaming appearing on the graph when playing? If so it is prioritizing just not showing on the list that it's being detected.
Jake-Scouser Posted July 28, 2024 Posted July 28, 2024 I have a gaming router that doesn't recognise gaming? 🤔
Jake-Scouser Posted July 28, 2024 Posted July 28, 2024 Is it possible to get a replacement R3 please fully updated and tested by yous?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted July 29, 2024 Administrators Posted July 29, 2024 If you could answer the questions then we can figure out what the issues may be, you'd need to email [email protected] regarding that to see if you're eligible for a return.
