Slow wifi

Wifi speeds are much slower than expected with both the current firmware .41 and early access .179. I have tried with QoS on and off it makes no difference. I have also tried to disable wan and lan ipv6 no luck there either. The wifi channels are set to auto but I could manually set them as there is no other wifi signals close enough to detect where I live.

I managed to improve it a bit by setting the channel manually with 80mhz width. Could be better though.

Great improvement, the only other things I could suggest are:

• Split the bands, give 2.4/5GHz different names and apply - you'll want to connect to 5GHz specifically for speeds
• Ensure it's in an elevated position - not on a metal surface
• Ensure there aren't any electrical / wireless devices e.g headphones etc within close proximity ~3 feet if possible
• Set the antennae to this position _ | | _

What client are you testing it with?

Ah I see your testing with iPhone 15 pro. Yes you should be knocking on the 800 to 900 mark on an iperf test.
