DARKNESS
The latest FW is this one after upgrading perform a factory reset to note you need to install it manually as netgear isn't pushing it via server https://kb.netgear.com/000066026/XR1000-Firmware-Version-1-0-0-
Lucretia
May I ask what type of factory reset? From the interface itself or from the router?
Lucretia
Hello, I have installed the new software and did a factory rest. The geo-filter now is able to be loaded, unfortunately when I try to change the location I get this error. (RPC error 'ERROR_CMDFAIL': Exec '//usr/bin/geoip -f /tmp/geoip_ipc2 -h -a "23" -l "47"' failed with 1)
DARKNESS
@LucretiaFor the Factory reset just locate the Reset button on the back of your router. With the router powered on, use the pointed end of a paperclip or similar object to press and hold the Reset button for 30 seconds. Wait for the router to fully reset and power back on. If still persist then try doing a reboot and or using a browser in incognito mode as it may just be a cache bug.

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 31 Administrators Share Posted March 31 Make sure you're not accessing the interface using HTTPS and that any browser based Adblocker is disabled for the interface. If you're still getting it, are you using Armor?
Lucretia
How do I access the interface with HTTPS? I've looked it up but couldn't figure it out. My ad blocker is disabled on the interface, and I am not using armor.
Lucretia
Oops, misread your reply. How do I know that I am not accessing it through HTTPS?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 31 Administrators Share Posted March 31 Use this URL specifically http://routerlogin.net depending on the browser you're using it may be forcing HTTPS automatically so you might need to look up how to disable that on your browser

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 1 Administrators Share Posted April 1 I know you did a hardware factory reset previously but can you do so from the interface instead in Settings > Administration > Backup Settings > Erase. When you've started it close the interface tab completely, wait 4 minutes then try to access and see if you get the errors please
