GeForce Now activity is labeled as "Uncategorized"

Recommended Posts

Hi,

The application detection categorizes an extremely small rate of flow (<0.01Mbps) from GeForce Now activity as "Cloud Gaming", while the remaining significant portion (25Mbps) is labeled as "Uncategorized" and top prioritizing cloud gaming for GeForce Now does not appear to be effective.  We have observed from the "stats for nerds" that it identifies the destination IP addresses of the flows and potentially categorize them accordingly. In Turkey, the GeForce Now servers operate through alliance partners. Is there a possibility that the IP addresses of the alliance partner's servers are not included in the relevant IP list, which could be causing the categorization issue.

Thanks,
Deniz

Hi, I will upload my captures asap, thank you so much. I just have one more question. Since I have just GeForce NOW activity on my laptop, I tried to prioritize my device instead. In "Priorities" section, the "Activities" list is empty and only my device is added to the "Devices" list. From the SmartBoost window,  I can see my laptop's activity is in the "Priority Activities" half of the circle, but I cannot observe an improvement in my ping values and resolution. I checked "stats for nerds" to check what actions are being taken for device prioritization but I cannot see my device in "Prioritized Traffic" list (both in manual and auto allocations). Am i doing something wrong, should I both prioritize my device and those "Uncategorized" GeForce Now activity for now? (With my GeForce Now activity the SmartBoost window prompts high usage.)
