x12Tyler
I have my sliders set to 70/70 but when running a Speedtest it maxes out at right below 200mb of a 1/1gig connection. It wasn’t doing this previously and when I turn Speedtest bypass off it gets the normal speeds. 70/70 of a gig isn’t supposed to be around 200. x12Tyler
Lowest you can go is to 50 but that’s not how it works. 70/70 means 70% of 1gb which should be in the 600’s close to 700mb. edit.. tried 50/50 and lowered it by around another 70mb even at 100/100 it’s getting right below 300mb for some reason so something’s not right. Because the first thing you advised was to try setting it to 30/30 when unless I’m missing something the lowest you can go is 50 on the sliders and even if you could setting it lower decreases the available bandwidth not the other way around. x12Tyler
Rebooting the router did seem to make it go back to normal though so idk what caused it to do that. I’ll have to keep an eye on it and see if it lowers again at any point. Best to reboot the router every day anyway right before you play or your games will play like crap anyway in my own personal experience TODDzillaInLA
swippur
That’s a known bug with congestion control.. rebooting the router fixes it. x12Tyler
