Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 15, 2024 Administrators Posted March 15, 2024 How old are both devices? AX WiFi would help you here I think so should be enabled

WESTC0AST Posted March 15, 2024 Author Posted March 15, 2024 im using channel 11,i think its the best option.but I have tried 1 and 6. both the same.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 15, 2024 Administrators Posted March 15, 2024 It still works for 2.4GHz! 5GHz will always be better for speed though WESTC0AST 1

WESTC0AST Posted March 15, 2024 Author Posted March 15, 2024 AX definetly helped. I got 118 from MacBook. thanks.should I just leave well enough alone?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 15, 2024 Administrators Posted March 15, 2024 You can enable OFDMA yes and that might improve it, otherwise ensure there aren't any wireless devices e.g. headphones etc in close proximity to the router as that could influence it. That 350 is going to be about the max for 2.4 in perfect scenario so if you want better speeds on wifi definitely use 5GHz

I'm literally 5 feet away from router nothing in between. just don't know why its so slowly, by the way OFDMA didn't help.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 15, 2024 Administrators Posted March 15, 2024 What do you get using the same devices but with 5GHz?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 15, 2024 Administrators Posted March 15, 2024 Could you provide a screenshot of your QoS page please? What speeds do you actually pay for/receive?
WESTC0AST Posted March 16, 2024 Author Posted March 16, 2024 remember I disabled qos.wnhen I was running the speed tests and trying to fix the speed.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 16, 2024 Administrators Posted March 16, 2024 Are you using Armor by any chance? Do both devices have the private/random MAC addresses option enabled? If so disable that and see if that is any better please
