Piplowe
Hi, Since factory resetting the XR500 I can no longer access the BBC Sport or news website. If I enter the url or search on google and click the results link I get the same error. ERR_CONNECTION_CLOSED If I connect to the main talk talk router I can access BBC and if I connect to a VPN on the same pc the XR500 is connected to it works. Oddly if I connect the VPN navigate to BBC and let the page load, I can disconnect the VPN and browse as normally. I've tried the default where I get the DNS from the main router and I've tried manually adding a few. Such as 8.8.8.8 and 1.1.1.1 It's a strange bug as it only affects a some sites. Ad Blocker is not enabled Any thoughts?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 15 Administrators Share Posted March 15 Could you try disabling QoS entirely from the Congestion Control menu and see if it still happens please?
Piplowe
Hi Fraser, that workaround solved it, is there a permanent fix so that I don't have to toggle Qos on and off
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 3 Administrators Share Posted June 3 Are you on the latest version? https://forum.netduma.com/topic/51611-new-xr500-beta-firmware-33535/ How have you set Traffic Prioritization? Is Adblocker definitely not showing any blocked entries?

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 4 Administrators Share Posted June 4 What is the model of the modem/router the XR is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the XR? E.g. XR in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode
Piplowe
Its a talk talk standard router. I've the XR in the DMZ, haven't put it in bridge mode not sure if that's an option. (will check later) It is only a few sites that don't load such as the bbc.co.uk Traceroutes and nslookups are the same
