getting half bandwith on R3

Hi there , I am getting half my bandwith on  R3 router.  Speed test shows arround 400 mbps down and up, Playstation test shows the same . Before on xr1000 or if i switch to other connection i am getting full speeds. R3 speed test shows 930 up and down so that seems fine but for some reaons there is some bandwith throttling happening...

My connection is fibre 3GBPS up and down. R3 is conencted via dmz on main router so it has public ip, , I disabled all qos , ping assists etc, rebooted , but nothing helps... Only play station uses r3.

Thank you

Also , is there a way to stop wan connection, release/renew to get new IP, otherwise  I have  to always restart

How did you disable QoS exactly? Do you have speed test bypass enabled? If you connect a PC/laptop to the R3 and do a test on speedtest.net does it get full speeds?

No for the restarting of the WAN connection

I did a factory reset just to make sure , never enabled ping optimizer in setup or smart boost so there is no congestion control which i dont need as PS5 is only device, disabled port scan and flood protection, added ps5 in dmz, still same speeds, that was just after midnight, still same test speeds on PS5 and laptop , and R3 own test speed show 930 mbps up and down,

Do you have speed test bypass enabled - I had it enabled and disabled, same .

After i went to sleep , suddenly PS5 and laptop is getting between 750 and 880 mbps down and up.... super weird although if i connect to my main modem i get 940 ish, so still something going on....

I dont mind about bandwith that much but I am worried about something still doing some kind of smartqos or congestion control....

You do not have to factory reset, just go to smartboost and under settings disable, wait 10 seconds and test network speeds, after speeds are back to normal enable smartboost again. The smartboost has a glich that has it degrading speeds overtime the longer it is on, just activate Smartboost when you are gaming.

You'd need to do the above to disable QoS properly, once you do that do you then get higher speeds on speedtest.net?
