HIGH PING ON WARZONE PS5

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone, I recently purchased the netduma r3, yesterday I connected the router and performed all the best procedures recommended for the netduma but I found that my ping has risen significantly. Previously I looked for games with a ping of 18ms now I look for them starting from 35ms and in game they are around 40/50 ms. With my ISP router I was always around 20 maximum, sometimes even 10 in game, my ISP router is the ZIXEL ZTE H389XV11.1. In terms of bufferbloat I now have A+ which is perfect but in terms of ping in game it has gotten much worse.

unfortunately at the moment it seems like the best performances are obtained by desactivating everything. I turned off smartboost, removed the portforwarding to go back to moderate NAT and don't use geofilter.

The search still starts higher (<22ms) than on my previous lowend netgear router on wich I had the express vpn firmware (<11ms).

I hope they patch soon becaus at the moment this product is not it.

Disable Steady Ping, that'll be it as it raises the ping by design, should be more as you expect after that

hey, there Fraser!  I hope you have real joyful things in your life outside of work.  cause this launch has been bumpy.  With that said, I have also seen the "higher than before" ping in game in Call of Duty.  Isn't this the design of the steady ping feature?  Doesn't it add a slight "cushion" to the ping variation like a shock absorber?  Is it not working?  or are you tired to trying to explain to people that it is doing what it was made to do?  Please clarify this issue.  Thank you and keep your chin up.

I tested now my bufferbloat and it is A+ so my ideea and personal opinion, this router for me solved only The bufferbloat.

Thanks for the kind words! Yes it is the design of Steady Ping, that is exactly what it does, I think people are not aware of how the feature works exactly and so we'll be looking into better ways to educate.
