Router crashes, unable to access dumaos but..

Recommended Posts

Tried to resync the geofilter cloud data, router hasn't been rebooted in 4 days, and during the resync the router completely locked up, the RGB lighting has been going off and on/stuttering.. but the Internet connection didn't drop and for the first time EVER with this router I'm actually seeing speeds that I'm paying for, both from wired and wireless (wireless download speed is still garbage, but the upload gives me hope) through wired  when the router is functioning "normally" I can't get anything higher than 350-400 Mbps download or upload (2Gbps down and up Google fiber connection) but some the router crashed, I have been getting on my series X 1.2Gbps, 1.5Gbps, nothing less then 1 Gbps and on the upload I haven't gotten less than 430 Mbps, along with ping being no higher than 30 which is amazing!

On wireless, I have been pulling more than 300 Mbps download and 600-800+ Mbps on upload(no idea why upload is higher...) but this is also the first time I ever seen higher then 300 Mbps on either over wireless! So it just seems like to get the best possible speeds, I need to wait a few days for the router to become unstable with geofilter refreshes, and I'm good! The only downside is I can't access or use anything on the router as the main page is stuck on loading features please wait(20+ minutes now) and the app just returns an unexpected error has occured.  I will attach photos from my Xbox showing the download and speed test from Mobile app

I'm not sure how the Xbox is reading those speeds as the router ports are limited to 1Gbps! If you reboot the router do you get access again?

That's exactly why it was so strange! Not only is the lan ports on the R3 limited to 1Gbps, but the lan port on the Xbox is also limited to 1Gbps. And yes once I rebooted the router I was able to access the dashboard and app again, but it also returned the speeds back to under 350 Mbps on wired and wireless, I needed to reboot though as the router was able to achieve higher speeds it seemed like it was locking up/hanging every few seconds or so. I did have another series of issues today and a bunch of strange things within my log, I will upload the log when I get back to my laptop, but the router became completely unstable and was dropping WiFi devices every minute or so.
