Jazze78
HI. I need to restart the router almost everyday after i update to .41. Can´t login to the router and the only fix is to restart. I didn´t have this issue in .
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 11 Administrators Share Posted February 11 If you don't have the issue on the previous version it may be best to downgrade for the moment. Otherwise it may be SmartBOOST/IPv6 causing it so if you disable those it might be more stable while we look into it.

lg2021
out of curiosity, do you have rgb disabled? i was having the same issue, i turned off smart boost, geo filter syn flood ipv6 wifi on and off, and still had the crashing issue every morning. untill i left rgb on, with all the settings how i had them before, but its stayed on and hasnt gone down for 3 days. also i turn of steady ping when not using it. i think its linked to one of those teo things, personally i think the rgb off setting, as ive tried every combo of everything and used to constantly turn rgb off, but as i say since i left it default everything works. just thought id let fraser know this incase it actually is a thing lol

For not being able to access, the team are asking: While connected to the router via a Windows PC, open command prompt, type ipconfig press enter, does the 192.168.77.1 IP show for the gateway? Are devices receiving the normal 192.168.77.x IP addresses? What lights are lit up on the router? Is it always only a reboot that fixes the issue? lg2021

Hi Fraser, When I had the crashing issue I believe it showed the gateway but wouldn't ping the 192.168.77.1 gateway address even if I put my PC on a static IP address on the 192.168.77.x subnet. I seem to remember it only displayed the Lan LEDs. Reboot fixed mine and it happened again shortly after and would do it randomly, it stopped happening after I defaulted the router and set it all up again, however I've gone back to 4.0.23 until the next release. I sent you a log straight after it happened so I don't know if that told development anything?

I didnt have this issue for a couple days (after taking my xbox out of the DMZ), i thought id put the xbox back into the DMZ and came home to this issue again. (excuse the dust) - Ethernet cables only in port 1 and 2 @Netduma Fraser - I will leave the router like this and wont reboot for a while in case there is any benefit of other tests / remote access being needed
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 15 Administrators Share Posted February 15 Thank you for the information, I will pass it onto the team. If you don't have access just reboot to get access again, there isn't much we can get from that state Jazze78 and DanologyUK 1
