I gotta ask why the newest router doesnt use better hardware? why do i have to restart it 2-4x a week? I really want to like this thing but it doesnt function. can the next release of Duma OS be open to any router and we pay for the OS?

Can you provide a screenshot of what you see when you get a game outside your radius please?

How do you have SmartBOOST set?

No sadly that’s not how firmware works on routers.

Hi Fraser, I don't want to Hijack this thread but if devices are switched off overnight and switched back on they should still get a DHCP address from the router, two of my devices are reserved in the router however you shouldn't need a reservation just to get an IP address.. This morning even after rebooting the router and devices multiple times they would not get an IP I had to set static IP addresses to both devices. My PC was seeing the router gateway but couldn't get a DHCP address. I only have 4 devices on my network. I've already defaulted the router after the latest beta update.

Detects gateway but doesn't give a DHCP address to device.

My phone is still not currently finding an IP address on Wifi.

The only way I can think that might be happening is if it is trying to obtain the same IP or a different IP that another device already has which makes sense why setting a reserved one works as you force it to use a different one.

It is better, it's not a hardware issue which is good because it can be easily fixed - the team are looking into it.

No that is not an easily achievable thing at all.

Try the suggestion above please and see if that helps. No he means that the OS can't just be put on other hardware.

Ok. How to disable syn flood protection?

ive had to factory reset 3 times now with the crashing, even just disabled syn flood on this 3rd time, after setting router up as it needs to be, the web page for the dumaos, becomes unresponsive after a minute and takes a factory reset to come back online.

connection to the internet is fine, just the actual dumaos is bricked.

Now my phone can't connect with WiFi.

Forget the WiFi network on the phone and reconnect - the option you disabled definitely isn't required for a connection

Hi @Netduma Fraserit's not that as there were three devices switched on and none of them were getting an IP address so it wasn't an IP conflict. It appears as if the DHCP server in the router wasn't active even though it was enabled. Multiple hard reboots didn't fix it so I had to disable the DHCP server under the advanced DHCP section, apply the changes and re-enable it. It is working now please could you raise this maybe as nothing had changed in my config so I assume it to be a bug which may happen again.

Okay no problem, will do, how do I export a log? Does if have to be done straight away, I could still do it if it retains a few days of logs as it was only this week.

Go to Settings > Troubleshooting > Advanced and you can click download. As soon as possible after the issue happens before you do a reboot, if you do a reboot the information will be lost. If you do it quickly once the issue happens then you can let us know the time and we can try to match it in the logs.

Hi, I can't access dumaos anymore either. For me everything was more or less working with a couple workarounds but today I started the PS5 and when I opened the Dumaos on my phone browser (I'm in France so still no app here) it showed on my PS5 "lan cable disconnected" and then instantly afret "lan cable connected" but since then everytime I try to access dumaos (phone or laptop) i'm stuck on features loading then error ?

Hard reset is the only way to do it snd re input your settings to your router had the router 3 days done it 7 times so far, but I'm guessing there will be a fix when the new firmware comes out....hopefully.

Hi Fraser,

I got a log as requested on the post, the issue I had is now similar to other users which is different to the DHCP issue I mentioned earlier. My internet dropped and I lost connection to a VOIP call, so I checked command prompt and I could not ping the local gateway address 192.168.77.1 or access the log in via browser so I believe the router had become unresponsive. A reboot brought it back online, then it did the same two minutes later. I've Pm'd you a link to the log if you could check please.

Hey just a update, 10, hours after last used have come back to pc and still the r3 is unresponsive again, I've kept steady ping turned off same as all other thing mentioned in linked thread had been applied so even that still doesn't work for me.

Factory reset again and input all settings to get it responsive

Next step is I'm going to turn it off completely and hope when I turn it back on it will be responsive, not a good work around who for people who connect their whole home through it though
