jcheve
when I browse youtube the router is showing the type of data as unknown. I wonder why its not recognizing the youtube.com website can you block a specific website?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 1 Administrators Share Posted February 1 Are you trying to block ads with the Adblocker or block it using internet rules as a parental control type situation? What firmware version are you on currently?

The site still functions, however no videos played for me at all, as soon as I deleted the rules they were allowed to play. This is the expected behavior. I didn't have YouTube open already before I made the rule, if you did have it open while making the rule that is probably why yours didn't work and mine did. Make sure YouTube is fully closed on the device, wait 2 minutes, this should be enough for any connections to it to be severed, then make the rule then go back and see if you get the same behavior I did. jcheve
did as you said but for some reason I think its not the rule itself. the dpi is not naming youtube data as youtube rather unknown... i opened a 4k stream and look at my dpi info..
