Snimkazaslona2024-01-21181250.thumb.png.985a999674cba0f0c69d792ff22a0ac5.pngI play on PS5, mostly Cod MW3.
I noticed that my in-game ping and the ping on my R3 router never match.
I want to say that on the R3 graph under Geofilter, my ping is always the same 10-12ms, which is impossible because my ping to the ISP server is about 30ms, and in games it is usually between 40 and 60ms.
When I try steady ping expert, it becomes even weirder, I set, for example, a 60ms target ping and then it adds 60ms to the current ping in the game, so that in the end I have 100+ ms ping in the game, and the graph from R3 still shows 10-12ms.
In Pingheatmap, it shows me exactly how much ping I have in the game, but not in Geofilter, as I said above.

I see you've switched between .23 and .20, did you do a factory reset after upgrading to .23? What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g. R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode.

The router is Huawei HA35, R3 is set up in the DMZ with the reserved address from R3 Wan.
I did a factory reset, actually twice

I've had a look at that router, please do the following on the HA35:

  1. Disable UPnP
  2. Disable the 3 Attack Protecting options
  3. Disable SIP ALG
  4. Disable bandwidth control
  5. Give the R3 a static/reserved IP so the DMZ never becomes inaccurate

See if it works better then please. Also make sure all devices are connected to the R3 - you could disable the WiFi on the HA to better achieve this and prevent accidental connections.

All of the above was disabled, R3 was in Dmz with a reserved address.
The only thing I had to disable was under the 3rd SIP ALG, which I disabled now

Any changes in the behavior?

Still the same. Maybe a little improvement in bandwidth.
But, for example, when I play Batllefield, the graph shows correctly both on R3 and in the ping game.

As a test if you disable filtering on the Geo-Filter so you can still see servers and ping them, the one you got an impossibly low ping to, does it then show as the expected ping?

Unfortunately, there is no change. I tried various combinations in Geofilter and still everything is the same, whether I pinged the server automatically or manually.
Regardless of which server I connect to, the ping on R3 is always the same from 1-5ms without steady ping and 10-12ms with steady ping.
I also tried to change the icon in the device manager from playstation to xbox, pc and games console, but no luck.
