Mr_Meeseeks Posted January 17, 2024 Posted January 17, 2024 im currently on 4.0.23 and would like to help beta test the latest firmware
DARKNESS Posted January 17, 2024 Posted January 17, 2024 There no betas that am aware off at the moment there just trying to fix all the major bugs and push the updates to users as quickly as possible
cljackhammer Posted January 17, 2024 Posted January 17, 2024 @DARKNESSthat’s unfortunate. I would rather see fixes implemented incrementally. The fact that they’re trying to fix all of the major issues explains whey we have not seen a new firmware yet.
DARKNESS Posted January 17, 2024 Posted January 17, 2024 @cljackhammerWhat are you talking about? You know what your saying sounds dumb because if they released beta features without fixing the core issues first then it just become an even buggier mess since they have to figure what causing this and that etc....
cljackhammer Posted January 17, 2024 Posted January 17, 2024 @DARKNESSi’m referring to releases fixes incrementaly. Clearly you don’t understand what I’m saying. For example, release the cpu utilization issue first if it has been tested followed by additional fixes after they have been tested properly instead of waiting for all of the bugs to be fixed. Try reading and comprehending before shooting off with baseless acussations..
DARKNESS Posted January 18, 2024 Posted January 18, 2024 @cljackhammerThe title of the topic would say otherwise but I understand what your saying I believe there just trying to get as many bugs fixed by doing bi-weekly updates etc you have to remember the routers only been out for a short period. I'd say the timing was somewhat bad do to it being the holidays which delayed updates though it was clearly a market move to get as many sales during holidays and it wasn't ready as it is missing features that should've been there from the beginning.
