zerny92
That is very annoying and disappointing… with all other routers there is no Problem (FRITZ!Box, speedport). i will try tomorrow to Split the wifi in 2,4 and 5 ghz and take a Look…

zerny92
I‘m absolutely annoyed… How can someone release a extensive product that is not smoothy compatible with smart home devices or something else. i could see that there were already Problems with previous routers in 2018. why don‘t you tackle a Problem Like this? Everything is becoming more and more digital and smart but the devices can‘t communicate with each other. Newfie
cedric108
It must be the issue of local wireless devices not being able to see each other on the same WiFi frequency. Netduma devs are aware of this issue. In the meantime, I recommend splitting the 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi frequencies. Place smart home devices on the 2.4GHz network or hardwire them to an Ethernet port, and use the 5GHz network for your main devices.
zerny92
Thank you for your answer @cedric108. This is an absolut desaster. The Firmware has so much Problems (VLAN at Launch) etc. I can‘t wait so long till they resolve the problems. For this price i get an alternative that have not this Problems. I like how they support it but not for every price. Split the WiFi Bands made the Problem much worse. The setup doesn‘t work anymore with Sonos…

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 15 Administrators Share Posted January 15 As above, I believe it is very likely that issue so should be fixed quite quickly.
