Sky Q losing connection

Hi All, 

So my SKY Q box loses internet connection every time the R3 is re booted .  I have tried assigning a fixed IP but that makes no difference ,   any suggestions would be appreciated

That's very strange, have you set it in a modem/bridge mode or anything like that?

I have sky Q box and a sky mini box in bedroom. I have main sky Q box connected via Ethernet and have assigned both main box and mini box a static IP address and both get a connection. Then few days go by and all Ethernet devices loose connection, but reboot and all good for few more days. In device manager I also assigned them both as set top box don’t know if this helps.

No I have not changed anything , and do have a fixed IP for the Sky Q box in the R3

I mean how the R3 would be affecting an upstream router like that I don't know, shouldn't be possible. Are there logs on the Sky hub you can look at that indicate what the issue may be?
