Geo-Filter Not Working for The Finals

Just got the R3 (DumaOS 4.0.290) and I can tell the game is a lot more responsive already.
I can't seem to get the geofilter to work though, the game traffic seems to not be detected (in network activity it's showing as Unknown).

When I set the computer to a game console device type it does accurately detect when I'm in a match though. Is that the only way to get this to work or is it also supposed to work outside of the game console type trick

Thanks for the report, it sounds like the Finals service needs to be updated, I'll let the team know. In the meantime that workaround will work just as well.

Just received my R3 and all supported games listed work except The Finals.  Is there a plan to fix this?  The primary reason I purchased this router was the horrible server matchmaking in The Finals and I thought the Geo-Filter would help this since I saw the game was supported.  Unfortunately, I purchased before finding this post and now I may need to return it if there is no definitive answer as to when this game will be fixed.

I have added a new game capture for The Finals to the pinned topic under "Features Ideas and Improvements | Adding New Games and Applications to Duma OS"

Thanks!  What is the console work around?  I must be missing it.

Does setting the mode to be console still block players outside the region as well?

Does setting the pc as a console and filtering games also block players outside of that range from joining your games or does it just block connection to servers outside?

It's a server based game as far as I am aware so it will just work the same. You can't influence who connects to the servers, just the server you connect to
