Hey @Netduma Fraser, I noticed today after having a few days uptime I enabled adblock and the Internet went down not long after, maybe a couple hours at most. Hope this helps.

Interesting, do you have the log by any chance?

Thanks a lot for that, they're probably the weirdest logs I've seen so far so I'll definitely need to pass that onto a dev to have a look

I think it's likely related to an issue we are aware of so with the next version it should be improved, once released let us know how you get on.

Yeah I will do. Honestly you keep telling people to disable ipv6 on WAN/LAN and personally I get better uptime results with them on. It might affect some of the services I don't use right now but it keeps network up for me. Hope all is well across the pond buddy!

So I've updated to .40 fw and sad to say the router dropped Internet sometime today. I'm at work so can't say for sure exactly when. Honestly with the kids in school and wife at work I don't think anyone was even active on the network at the time. I was really hoping the cpu issue was the cause but seems that's not the case.

I can get the logs to you ASAP. I'm also noticing settings not saving. Trying to turn off speed test bypass but for some reason that keeps re-enabling along with the full test and expert mode. Also looking at the logs I'm getting the same thing I've seen in another post about overwatch. Now I do play that game, but, I haven't in a while and the battle.net app doesn't auto run with Windows for me. So that's questionable as well imo.

user.notice overwatch-initd:: [0;33m[WARNING]: [0m71.249.104.236:51584-70.178.226.46:53692 negative rtt (up=1706574747597, down=1706574747554)

That's what looks kinda sketchy to me as I stated above, I haven't played that in a while plus the Blizz.net app doesn't auto-start with my Windows.

It's not referring to overwatch the game, it's to do with a background process, perfectly normal. When you change those settings, wait 30 seconds before going off it, then go back, have they saved?

Thanks for the log, I'll pass it onto the team.

For the disconnect issue, the team are asking, when you get the issue:

  1. On command prompt, enter ping google.com and provide a screenshot of the results
  2. Then enter ping 8.8.8.8 and provide a screenshot of the results
  3. Check if the UI loads ok
  4. Are there any specific symptoms that caused it to happen? i.e. IPv6 connection, playing a game while watching a YouTube video or a teams call?

So I've had my ipv6 off since it never worked with CC for me. I would always get my max speed even when having speed test bypass enabled. When I would have hardwire DC, WiFi would still work and could get into the UI, all ports would say connected as well as the devices would show connection but without Internet. Hard to say about what was being utilized be it gaming, streaming, YouTube, etc as we all do that here. I will say that the last time this happened nobody was home using the network. Next time I'll catch the logs before I restart if I can and try to ping Google DNS for you with a screenshot.

Hello just wanted to add my experience to the topic. I have had the LAN ports lose connection just twice. When it did happen WiFi was still working. Both times it happened though my Xbox was downloading updates and the LAN ports would stop working about 15-30mins after turning the Xbox off with the update’s downloading in the background, a reboot would fix the issue.

I think that is most likely due to the standby/sleep mode it went into that the router wasn't able to determine properly that is was online but that is a good thing for us to look into, thanks for the report.

Yea it will usually continue to download updates and things after the Xbox is turned off  but all the LAN ports stopped working about 15-30 after turning the Xbox off while it was still downloading. Maybe just a weird bug, that was the only times I have noticed the LAN ports not working.

Hello Fraser I had the LAN ports stop working again while xbox was downloading updates in the background and in sleep mode. I attached the logs... hope they help.

Thank you for that, I believe we've fixed that in the next firmware (at least we're unable to reproduce it now)

Hello Fraser unfortunately this issue has just happened to me again. I was downloading updates on the Xbox last night, turned it off and went to bed while the updates were still downloading and woke up this morning with none of the LAN ports working, WiFi was working. A reboot of the router fixed the issue.
