To my knowledge 4.0.16 is the launch version for R3 and many people like myself have been (still are) running into issues. One of my issues is that not able to access the interface the following next day, for example, yesterday I got in perfectly fine and was also able to do the speedtest but when I make a change as in add a device in smartboost or add a game in geo-filter. I won't be able to access the interface the following next without having to reboot the router. My other issue is fortnite is not able to connect I'll be sitting on the loading screen waiting and then i have to restart the game because it wasnt able to connect to servers.

@Netduma Fraser will be able to help you with this as soon as he can, he is extremely busy at the moment so your patience is much appreciated

I have sent you an update in PMs. You shouldn't be losing access to the interface at all so please let us know if that keeps happening after the upgrade

Since the firmware update everything was working perfectly, up until now i stuck on loading screen & after few minutes get the error "DumaOS is taking a while to load"

Do a factory reset, would be a good idea to do so after the few updates and it should be fine after that

I have the same issue with a new NETDUMA R3 router, out of the box, it never gets into the admin app but shows the error "DumaOS is taking a while to load".
I tried to do a factory reset (pressing with a clip for more than 15 secs on the "reset" hole) but it still has the same issue.
This is very annoying.. I never had this issue with any new router I bought in the past...

the only workaround that I know is to reboot the router by pressing the button and unplugging all cables connected to the router, Once all cables are unplugged turn on the router wait the 4 minutes, and plugin all cables, you should now be able to get into the interface

Wow! That workaround worked! It's really weird and annoying that you cannot start a router the first time with the ethernet cables plugged to another router/modem,

So, the workaround that also worked for me is: "unplug all cables connected to the router, shutdown the router by pressing the button and once all cables are unplugged turn on the router, wait the 4 minutes, and plugin all cables, you should now be able to get into the interface".

Link to the issue I faced with more details, solved with the workaround mentioned by @liluziflirtttt Thanks man! :)

Thank you for that workaround, that is unexpected behavior and not something that should happen, I will pass it onto the team to take a look at!

What? This is happening again!

Fraser, how can we fix this?
It's not acceptable to have to disconnect all the ethernet cables...

I'm today again trying to enter into the router's web app and it get's like the following for a few minutes:
image.thumb.png.eca67e02a90575c4ff5f74a903b9807e.png

Then, I get the same error:

How can we fix this?
Is there any FIRMWARE update?
When I went to the router's web app on the "..." menu, it says it's "Up to date" so I don't see how we can update the firmware to a new verion for the NETDUMA R3.. ??

What can we do?

Even with the newest firmware, the issue persists, I even factory reset my ISP modem and I still have the problem

What is the web browser/device you're using to access the interface exactly? What's your physical setup? Are you using PPPoE/VLAN or DHCP identifiers for a connection?

I used Opera GX on a Windows 11, Physical setup ISP modern is connected to R3 with my PC ,WRF laptop, and cisco phone, Not using any PPPoE/VLAN or DHCP identifiers for a connection

Btw, in my case, after upgrading the NETDUMA R3 to a newer firmware version, that fixed the issue and now I can turn off and on the NETDUMA router and get into the router's admin web app without having to disconnect all the ethernet cables which was a weird bug.

So, I thinik it's fix with the firmware version 4.0.23.

Fraser provided that firmware version directly to me through a private message.

The previous version which was not working properly was 4.0.19.

Again, thanks @fraser for providing support and a solution in the Christmas weekend! :)

That's really great to hear, I'm surprised that version fixed it but we'll take the win! You're very welcome, have a great Christmas!

@liluziflirtttt I believe I've given you the firmware as well, have you had this issue since that update?

Instead of rebooting the router when it happens again, could you disconnect the PC from the WiFi/ethernet, however it's connected, wait 10 seconds or so then reconnect it and see whether you can access please?
