DumaOS is not running! XR450

I ran through all the threads on this already and ran out of ideas. Power off, Factory resets, /adv_index.htm reboot, Update, Downgrade - Update, Update to Beta.

Everything results in Error: This Rapp is not loaded yet, please try again in a minute. or DumaOS is not running!

Please help!

When did the issue start to occur exactly? If all that didn't work then TFTP may be the only solution but it can be tricky https://kb.netgear.com/000059633/How-do-I-upload-firmware-to-my-NETGEAR-router-using-a-TFTP-client-on-Microsoft-Windows

It's been 6-12 months since the last time I needed it.

Give TFTP a try, it installs the firmware before the boot process and therefore resolves any issues found there, let us know how you get on

Same here I finally got the new firmware rc14 uploaded and came home to not secure privacy error.

Did all the factory resets, unplugged cables etc and now getting this error. Do I go ahead and follow the instructions in this thread?

The not secure isn't an error, it's because you're connecting to the interface via HTTP not HTTPS which is fine as the interface isn't accessible from the internet.

You shouldn't need to TFTP but a reboot, close the tab, wait 4 minutes and it should load

Reboot from 192.168.1.1/adv_index.htm and wait 4 minutes again before accessing

Use the link above to re-install the firmware, wait 4 minutes then do a factory reset, wait 4 minutes and should work better then

Getting a permission denied error  (Macos)when trying to set path of step 2 in instructions

Not TFTP, I mean accessing using 192.168.1.1/adv_index.htm and upgrading from there

Tried this last one- now its back to giving privacy error and login password loop

Privacy error is fine, HTTP should be used over HTTPS for it. If you use the default credentials admin / password does that allow you in?

Nope get 400 bad request error this server does not support the operation requested by your client. Tried factory rest multiple times.

Could you try a different web browser please and see if you get the same issue?

Got it fixed used the nighthawk app on my mobile and was able to reset router and can now use the interface. I will continue to use the old firmware V2.2.134 until updated needed.

Finally took the plunge and used TFTP, was able to complete the process but nothing changed. I still have no access to the DumaOS

DumaOS not loaded yet!

Don’t think it was the beta, but the latest stable that was at the top of the list and also an older version that someone somewhere said might help. Not at my pc to check.

Try the beta as it should be much better on that version
