geo-filter is not working for me in cod: warzone

Hi. Today my r3 came to me, after a quick and simple configuration I decided to test it in battle. I set the geofilter to connect to a server in my country where according to ping heatmap I should have a ping of 9-13. However, out of a dozen or so games, I have never connected to the server I indicated in the geofilter. I blocked every server with which I was connected (deny function) so that it would finally connect me to my server, but instead it connected me to SAUDI ARABIA and although according to the geofilter it showed me a good connection and a ping of 40, in fact in the game I had 117 and there were noticeable lags. Can you do anything for me about this? I ran the geofilter before the game, during the game, restarted Warzone, the router - it didn't help, still the same effect. Can anyone help me with my problem? Why does it connect me to every other server except the one I indicated? Why did it connect me to Saudi Arabia and even though the netduma website showed me ping 40, in reality I had almost 120 and terrible lag? Thank you in advance for any help.

After increasing the ping assist to 50, after quite a long wait it finally found a match, unfortunately in London with 42 ping. I decided to additionally test disabling the steady ping option with ping assist 25, but it still does not prepare a match.

This router picks every server not inside my radius, I just switched locations and same thing

i can barely even connect to games with the geo filter on, it takes forever, I have to turn it off to connect to games

Wymuszanie określonych serwerów może wydłużyć wyszukiwanie, a jeśli wymuszasz serwer, najlepiej ustawić Asystenta Ping na 0

I did as you suggested, set the ping to 0 and turned off Geo-Latency and finally, for the first time, I managed to connect to my server. I just don't know why I had a ping of 22, and my friend with the cheapest router had a ping of 15. However, when I tried to load the lobby further, I decided that there was no point in geolocation for now - it practically doesn't search for a match at all, and when it does, by some miracle, it finds one. then you have to wait 20-25 minutes. Are there any systems that can speed up this process? Or are there any updates planned to improve the search for a match in a specific location? Because at the moment there is no point in using geolocation and forcing connection to a specific server. I also wonder why my friend had a lower ping than me with the R3 router.

That's what you need to do to force specific servers, the servers you're forcing are not commonly used servers and that is very likely why it is taking you a long time to connect to them. Steady Ping will be increasing the ping to provide a buffer against spikes/jitter so they're absorbed but do not affect you, giving you 1 consistent ping throughout the entire game for a smoother experience. If you prefer you can disable this and your ping will likely be lower but could fluctuate. Also a router isn't the only determining factor in the calculation of your ping, there are a lot of variables that could be different to your friend such as your proximity to the server, your ISP routing to the server etc.

To speed up the search you would need to force a server that is used more often in more central/western Europe. To give you an idea, I don't think I have seen anyone connect to or force the server you're using in years.

It's not true, the server was in Poland from the time of MW2 , R2 is easy to connect ... In R3 there are problems :(

You live in England, so it is not surprising that you do not connect you... except for servers from England, you have France, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy.

That's not true, I don't live in England, I live in Poland. The distance to the server in Warsaw is about 250 km as the crow flies and this is definitely the server closest to me. Unfortunately, it is practically unplayable because connecting with it is almost impossible.

That was based on support that I've seen over the years not my personal experience, it's similar to the Spanish and Italian servers which are notoriously hard to force. There is no specific way to check the popularity of the server.

You could check by clicking on your device on the Geo-Filter and disabling the filtering then just playing games for awhile - servers you're connecting to will still show on the map and you can see if you ever get put in that server.

However, you are right, r3 is my first router with geolocation and before, when I played, it never connected me to Warsaw, and I know this because I always had a ping of 30-50max, and yesterday, when I managed to force a connection to the server in Poland for the first time, I had ping 22. I don't understand why this happens and there are servers with which I practically cannot connect even though they are right under my nose. It's a pity that this is the case, because my main reason for buying r3 was that I thought I would be able to play on a server in my country, but unfortunately this is not possible because it simply won't find this match for me. Thank you for your help and your answers, best regards.

I turned off Geo Latency, however BF2042 is still attempting to put me into servers outside of my filtering. Only this time, it kicks me out afterwards because I have that geo latency turned off. Still though, the game shouldn't be attempting to connect me to those servers outside my filter in the first place. It's kind of frustrating

The devs would like to organize a remote session to take a look at this issue with you further tomorrow, please follow these instructions:

  1. Download Anydesk from here: https://anydesk.com/en-gb/downloads/windows
  2. Ensure you are connected to the R3 and on the router interface and are able to attempt game searches at the same time at the session
  3. Let us know here when you're ready tomorrow
  4. Me or dev will ask you to PM them the Anydesk ID at the top of the program
