Ping Heatmap pings different than In-game ping and GeoFilter

I've noticed a significant difference between the pings displayed on the ping heatmap and the actual in-game latency and GeoFilter.

The lowest ping servers based on my experience and location are in Italy. but in the ping heatmap it shows France and sometimes Spain with pings I have never seen in the game.

The pings can be different as they're using different IP addresses - there are lots of game servers clustered in the same location so we can't possibly cover all of them with Ping Heatmap, its more to be used as a guide rather than to have pin point accuracy
