Well I waited few days for you to connect but never got a reply, I did see you were bombarded with requests for help. So thought you would get to me eventually but nothing. I have found 4.0.20 more stable but still not able to run ping optimiser. The Ethernet devices seem to stay connected for longer. Hope you manage to fix the bugs.

  • 2 weeks later...

It just dropped connection again on Ethernet connected decices. Was running for 4 days fine. I checked it wasn’t isp problem by using WiFi on phone and all working ok. Tried to login to router to get logs but wouldn’t let me. Rebooted router and all working again.

Could you try disabling SmartBOOST fully from the :r3menu and see if it happens again please?

Hi turned off Smartboost and still disconnected after few days 😞 I have tried moving the Ethernet devices to different ports on R3 but tried all of them now.

I am having the same issue. No issues when I first received my R3 and after the first month this began. Now I’m restarting my pc and my r3 just to game but not it kicks me off the internet every few minutes and I can figure out what the issue is.

If you have access to the interface, please grab the log from Settings > Troubleshooting when it next happens and we can take a look

hi all also having this issue at present. Not exactly the same but around 1am every night BST all devices lose connection to the router and wifi drops off, When u try reconnect it reconnects to the netdumar3 but says connected with no internet access. @fraser im already on the new firmware u sent me last week for my geo filter issues (4.0.23). The wifi does come back after around 40mins without having to turn it off or reboot.

When that happens could you get the logs like I mentioned above please? It could be the DHCP lease renewing potentially and taking too long for the connection to recover

I have everything on Ethernet assigned with static IP address and few devices on WiFi. Still kicks Ethernet devices off. Last time it happened wouldn’t let me into router to get logs.

I've given the team loads of information on the issue so they should be able to get it resolved. A new firmware should be available early in the week and general fixes included in that may help with this.
