slugg Posted December 2, 2023 Share Posted December 2, 2023 Just a simple heads up and I know it sounds dumb but it’s true. I bought a Ps5 slim bundle so ended up with mw3 on xbox and ps. If you disable cross play on ps5 to avoid the pc sweats you will probably face long matchmaking times on the other platforms. I flip flop between both consoles on mw3 as it has cross save as well and after disabling cross play I faced this issue. I didn’t put 2 and 2 together at the time but noticed I had been getting way long matchmaking times recently on xbox. Upon researching and finding a video explaining it I enabled cross play and it fixed matchmaking times back to very short wait times on xbox. Probably rare that someone swaps between consoles but maybe this can help someone if they experience this.
