struggling to set r2 up

Ive had it set up in the past and unplugged it but im now trying to get is setup again but no matter what ethernet combination i use i either dont have internet or cant acess the duma software and not recognized how do i set it up with my regular internet router

@JagraIs your modem on when your connecting the R2? How are you accessing the OS?

i feel like i am setting the modem up wrong i dont know where to plug in each ethernet cable to have the internet provider router running and the netduma router running i couldnt access the OS. Bascially just asking how to set the ethernet cables correctly to have it running

@JagraWhat the model of your modem? Though it should be pretty self explanatory on the R2 should be the one with the blue color the one that says ethernet I would suggest looking at your manual for better instructions. 

One crucial step is to have your modem off and turn it one after the R2 is fully running this is do to your modem maybe not refreshing the IP so forth..:

The internet port on the R2, next to the power cable should be connected to one of the LAN ports on your modem. What do you see when trying to access the interface?
