Hi,

My nighthawk router is playing up and I can't work out why.

No ethernet and no WiFi, tried multiple times turning it off but no joy.

Please help before I take a baseball bat to my whole rig.

Good advice above, first thing to do would be a factory reset in this situation, hold the reset button for 30 seconds, then wait 4 minutes before accessing the interface

Guys I gave up, I did the whole process of resetting my VBH and Nighthawk but still no connection.

Virgin business hub works fine and I can  use Internet via ethernet and wireless fine.

Reset virgin hub then disable resident gateway (modem mode) , saved setting etc.

As soon as I plug ethernet into Nighthawk I have no connection.

I'm going to try again in the morning , i just have no idea now what is going on with it.

Are you able to access the interface at all? As you would need to complete the Setup Wizard before you can get internet

You said you reset already? Hold the reset button in the back of the router for 30 seconds, then wait 4 minutes before accessing the interface

Just so I'm correct, is this the modem mode (Residental gateway function) when set to disabled.

Yes when set to disabled I assume it would act as a modem. While connected to the router via a Windows PC, open command prompt, type ipconfig press enter and then post a screenshot of the results here please.
