Bluegixer1
Hi, My nighthawk router is playing up and I can't work out why. No ethernet and no WiFi, tried multiple times turning it off but no joy. Please help before I take a baseball bat to my whole rig.

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 6, 2023 Administrators Share Posted October 6, 2023 Good advice above, first thing to do would be a factory reset in this situation, hold the reset button for 30 seconds, then wait 4 minutes before accessing the interface
Bluegixer1
Guys I gave up, I did the whole process of resetting my VBH and Nighthawk but still no connection. Virgin business hub works fine and I can use Internet via ethernet and wireless fine. Reset virgin hub then disable resident gateway (modem mode) , saved setting etc. As soon as I plug ethernet into Nighthawk I have no connection. I'm going to try again in the morning , i just have no idea now what is going on with it.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 6, 2023 Administrators Share Posted October 6, 2023 Are you able to access the interface at all? As you would need to complete the Setup Wizard before you can get internet

Bluegixer1
Just so I'm correct, is this the modem mode (Residental gateway function) when set to disabled.

While connected to the router via a Windows PC, open command prompt, type ipconfig press enter and then post a screenshot of the results here please.
