Max2110
Why am i getting a matching-making error on Fortine with geo filter enabled. I live in Bangkok. Upnp enabled. Dmz set to ps5. 1gig fiber. Firmware R2 3.3.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 16, 2023 Administrators Share Posted September 16, 2023 The way Fortnite works is that it only tries to connect to a server when you're actually loading into the game and so that is the only time it can be blocked so you are kicked back to the lobby. For Fortnite it's best to disable filtering mode but still use it to find out what server you're on, if it's too far away then you could quit and re-search until you find the server you want. This would actually be quicker than letting the Geo-Filter kick you.
Max2110
This is pathetic, iv been blocking servers for idk how long instead of actually playing the game

Everytime I use this router I regret buying it
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 4, 2023 Administrators Share Posted November 4, 2023 That's what I mean, it doesn't try to block a server until you're already loading in so adding them to your deny list isn't doing anything more than the radius would so I would suggest disabling, searching, checking the location/ping, quitting then re-searching if needed. It will be a lot quicker.

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 4, 2023 Administrators Share Posted November 4, 2023 That's up to the game, it's not something we can control when the filter is off, what is your normal ping to the game when connected to your ISP router? DARKNESS
Just use polygon mode around the low ping server area doesn’t matter we’re your at it we’re the servers are located that matters and if you use geo on the wrong area well that answers why your being timeout of the server
