Whether it's issues with geolocate, the QOS or the app just freezing on my phone, after a few years of having this, it's more of a bother than it's worth. 

 

Playing MW3 and geolocate flat out won't work. The app freezes constantly. The computer constantly brings up the tutorial not matter how many times I press the button not to show it again. 

I spent hours trying to figure out why games weren't connecting to the internet on my Xbox only to find a little blurb somewhere on this site that said the either QOS or geolocate (I forget which) can cause issues and not to activate it until you reach the multi-player screen. 

Use this, don't use this, sync the cloud, make sure this random feature is set to this setting. 

After years of using this on two different routers, it would be nice if things works easily. 

My fault for buying a second one, I suppose. 

Devs are very nice which is the only reason I bought another router. I was hoping after (I think five years of dealing with this) that things would be smoother. Not the case.

I agree with some of this. The constant popping up of the tutorials does get a little old. Not a deal breaker for me though. I don't really use geofilter except for ping assist mode. Honestly I've tried other routers and get pings higher than what I'd like and suffer because of it (i.e getting shot behind a wall because in reality I'm not behind it). Now I'm getting servers less than 20 or 30ms. Now my kids and I don't worry about lag spikes or high latency servers. Only other thing I don't like is there's only 4 devices on geofilter. Trust me, adding and removing devices gets old too. But, this is what we do when we want good servers. It's not perfect, but it's as close as we'll get with having the amount of control we do with DumaOS.

Is it the DumaOS app you're referring to? If so have you updated to the beta firmware? I would recommend doing so as that will bring a better mobile experience.

I've responded to your MW3 topic. For the tutorial that usually reappears either because you've bookmarked the interface with the tutorial part in the URL or you're clearing browser cache/cookies frequently, does either of those scenarios explain it for you?

What games are you having issues with specifically? For the most part having the Geo-Filter enabled before you launch the game shouldn't cause any issues.
