I've ran the same tests with the same environmental factors and overall I get better internet while using my isp provided router/modem combo than I do while using the R2 connected to my combo in bridge mode. Hopefully I'm configuring it wrong. First picture is with R2 second is with isp provided combo router.

Do you even has qos setup properly? Speeds don't mean much if it inconsistent/unstable and one run test doesn't tell you the whole picture I'd say decreasing your cc will properly give you A+

the reason I looked into this is because my bullet reg has seemed dog ass lately. But as far as if its configured "correctly" I don't entirely know. Decrease it to what %?

@HoodedMenaceGenerally if you have a spike in one it'll affect your whole experience so it best to do so and you have plenty of bandwidth so I don't think it'll be much of a problem also are you running pub firm or beta?

Public currently. Also I appreciate the help.

@HoodedMenaceNo big deal G if you were to run beta firm it does do better for cod though currently the latest one has issues and it obviously a beta. So it going to have it issues I'd recommend 3.3.502 if you wish to try it though it a different UI and all so you need to know what your doing in order to use it properly and it doesn't have desktop UI

@HoodedMenaceOk just to rephrase there is desktop UI it just not everything is in there just partial the rest is on the mobile version which you can access on desktop by just inspecting/debugging and using mobile version like that etc

Good comms! I'm going to give it a shot now. Hoping for the best.

Let us know how you get on with the changes to Congestion Control and potential upgrade to Early Access!

Upgraded to the version the guy above suggested. Bullet reg seems a bit better. Im still really new to this so may not be configuring it correctly. Would you suggest upgrading to the latest early access version?

I would yes, utilizing the favorites system to prioritize the game specifically should help as well as using Congestion Control

I've upgraded to the latest early access version and been using it about a week now. Seems about the same. Maybe small improvements. I'm not sure if Im not properly configuring it or whats going on. I also had my isp send someone out to see if I had any issues with my line from the street or something. Everything was fine and I had him hook his meter up to the modem with the duma removed and then again to the router when plugged to the modem. My speed difference was nearly half..

Could you provide some pictures of how you set it up? Also a picture of a completed Connection Benchmark could be helpful

Smart QoS/Congestion Control please

Sorry for the delay I appreciate the help.

I just do the test and run the suggested settings it provides. Btw I can only do the quick test. The other one never works for me.

Everything else is just default. Besides the ports forwarded via activisions website.

Don't use Auto Setup, Ping Under Load at that rating would indicate that QoS needs to be fine tuned some more. It's best to start with a high value for Congestion Control, say 95% then do a test, decrease by 10%, test, decrease by 10% etc, until you get to a value that is pretty good and then try 5% either side of that value to see if it can be improved. It's important to note that Download & Upload on Congestion Control don't have to be the same value and that you may have a better experience with differing values.
