Old J
Ok, so im in a deep rabbit hole here... My ethernet adapter has this QoS Packet Scheduler enabled by default. Does anyone know what this is? Should i keep it on or could it mess with the QoS in the router somehow? Please help
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted July 17, 2023 Administrators Share Posted July 17, 2023 I'm quite confident on any wired connection on a Windows PC you will have this option enabled by default so it shouldn't cause any issues with the QoS on the router. It's QoS but just for the device level so it will prioritize packets depending on what it thinks is important etc. You could try disabling it so the router is just handling it and see if you notice a difference at all.
