nowngamer Posted July 15, 2023 Posted July 15, 2023 Hey, I appreciate all the work that you guys do. im trying to setup my vpn with hypid vpn and nord. i know how to set it up in the advance settings but in game i can connect to multiplayer. what can i do to fix that? i tried enabling the vpn then adding the console while its off but same problem. also when i do those steps and restart the router.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted July 15, 2023 Administrators Posted July 15, 2023 The only reason this wouldn't be working is that you've selected a server that is too far away, putting your ping above whatever limit they deem suitable or they have started banning known VPN IP addresses. Either way trying a new server or a new provider may work.
nowngamer Posted July 19, 2023 Author Posted July 19, 2023 I change providers and its still not working. is there a special way that i have to setup my xbox in devices? it used to work perfectly when i used out of state servers for D2.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted July 20, 2023 Administrators Posted July 20, 2023 As long as it is added like this: It will be applying to the entire device. If you're using popular VPN providers those servers will be targeted for a ban over smaller less known providers.

That's one of the downsides of using a VPN, you can't really get an Open NAT, it shouldn't affect how the game plays, just who you're able to connect to.
