sacha Posted June 10, 2023 Posted June 10, 2023 Hi guys I was wondering how I can change my nat type 2 to a nat type 1 (open nat type) I haven't changed anything in the wan settings etc I think everything is still standard. Any help is appreciated!
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 10, 2023 Administrators Posted June 10, 2023 NAT Type 2 is an Open NAT it just means you're behind a router, the only way to change this to type 1 would be to connect the console directly to your modem

If it does, what are the benefits? As long as you have an Open NAT there is no need to port forward and it's unlikely to make a further difference
