LucKyGGTV
Helo, I have a 900/200mb fiber optic internet. I have a modem with R2 in addition to RJ45 cables. The cable to the PC comes out of the R2 and the speed is satisfactory (700mb+). Unfortunately, even if I put the phone on R2 to a maximum speed of 20mb. I have a division into 2.4GHz and 5GHz. It works the same on each. And I have the settings set to automatic. DumaOS: 3.3.

Still to the same 2. Still to the same 3. Wooden cabinet 4. TV ~60cm up | PS5 ~100cm 5. Different antenna settings do nothing. The Wifi speed from the modem, which is in another room, in a wall enclosed by a metal box, is much faster than I am 10cm from r2. Combining 2.4GHz and 5GHz into one network also does nothing. Of course, this is not a problem of one device, but of all.
LucKyGGTV
I just don't understand why, every speedtest shows low speed. See link from speedtest by ookla:https://www.speedtest.net/result/i/5638492892 And below is a photo from the dumaos app on my iPhone. Only there is good speed. DARKNESS
You know a modem doesn't give wifi bud 😂 That would be a router/modem combo are you by chance running bridged mode? Because if you aren't and it coming from router/modem combo I believe that might be your issue to fix that you would have to enable the bridge settings in the router/modem combo gateway
LucKyGGTV
@DARKNESS I might have worded it wrong, unfortunately I'm using a translator 😁 Fiber optic cable goes to my apartment, which is connected to Halny HL-4GMV3. My operator does not give access to it - it is blocked.I have R2 connected to it.Both have different WiFi networks configured.
DARKNESS
Hm I've had in the past had some issues with the wifi speeds for the R2 and it was based on the MHz/channel widths it can be possible that it something causing interference since as you said you are able to get the speeds when connected through lan so it must be something...make sure the head-ends for the antenna are well tightened Do you have hybrid vpn enabled? if so disable it..it does lock speeds to 20mbs Have you hard reset? Also if your able to find the issue the speeds for wifi will be limited to 250mbs that just hardware limitation as is the hybrid vpn
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 8, 2023 Administrators Share Posted June 8, 2023 Changing the widths did not change your speeds whatsoever? Go to the Device Manager click the icon then do a WiFi scan please and copy and paste the output here.

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 8, 2023 Administrators Share Posted June 8, 2023 Thanks for that, set all the channels and widths to automatic, apply, reboot the router from the interface, wait 2 minutes then access and do a speedtest
LucKyGGTV
@Netduma Fraser I did as you wrote, the problem is still there. These are my results on the 2.4GHz network - 2 meters from R2: 5GHz -same distance:
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 9, 2023 Administrators Share Posted June 9, 2023 This is very strange, are you getting the same low speeds on other WiFi devices? The speedtest on the router is from the router so won't change much whichever device/connection method you do it on.
LucKyGGTV
@Netduma Fraser I checked this on several phones and computers.

LucKyGGTV
I have uploaded R2 version 3.3.501 I did a factory reset after the update. The best speeds now with the 2.4GHz & 5GHz mirror settings. Default settings: 2.4GHz : Channel 6 & 40MHz 5GHz: Channel 44 & 80MHz At the same time, my steamdeck shows a speed above 100mb. Whereas the iPhone ~ 15. It's much better, but still weak, and changing the wifi settings reverts to a maximum of 15mb on each device. For now, I'll have to settle for this, if anyone has any additional advice, I'd be glad to share it. Thank you for your help so far.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 12, 2023 Administrators Share Posted June 12, 2023 Interesting, on the iPhone if you disable the Private/Random MAC option for the WiFi does that improve the speeds after a restart?
