agostinotar Posted May 14, 2023 Posted May 14, 2023 I can't connect the ps5 to the netduma r2 with a lan cable I tried them all... wfi the ps5 with a lan cable is also fine the notebook is fine I did all the possible updates and resets sometimes I can't access the neduma I get connection is not private and I have to reset it to fix it it's been happening to me for a week before everything was fine if i connect the lan cable from the ps5 to my ruter fritzbox7590 directly is fine If you can help me, thank you in advance for any response
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted May 14, 2023 Administrators Posted May 14, 2023 When did this start, was it after doing anything in particular such as an update or settings change? Does the connection not private mean you can't access the interface? What firmware update are you on currently?
agostinotar Posted May 15, 2023 Author Posted May 15, 2023 it had been off for a month i used the netduma for warzone i had no problems but now the game is worthless i'm using it again for cold war since i turned it back on its not good now i use the basic settings i changed only the passwords I use firmware 3.3.280 i have two problems 1) I can't connect the ps 5 with a lan cable to the netduma wifi is fine..... i changed 3 lan cables 2) after the reset I can access the dumaos but after when I connect the ps5 with a lan cable the problems start like the connection is not private and I have to redo the reset I'm quite familiar with the netduma router
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted May 15, 2023 Administrators Posted May 15, 2023 What actually happens when it says connection not private? If the web browser is just saying that but you're still able to access it then you can ignore that, it's just because the connection is made using HTTP rather than HTTPS. I think it would be a good idea to try Early Access and see if that resolves it for you, sign up here: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/39415-introducing-early-access/ let me know when you've done that and I'll approve you.

DARKNESS Posted May 15, 2023 Posted May 15, 2023 MY BEST GUESS IS HE PUT A STATIC IP ON THE CONSOLE AND THE IP REFRESHED ON THE ROUTER AND SO HE NEEDS TO FORGET THE IP ON THE CONSOLE SINCE IT GIVING AN INVALID IP AND SO HE WONT HAVE ACCESS TO THE INTERNET I WOULD RECOMMEND IP RESERVING IF YOUR SETTING A STATIC IP
agostinotar Posted May 19, 2023 Author Posted May 19, 2023 i still cant connect lan the ps5 i can only connect it wifi and if i restart the modem (FRITZ BOX7590) OR ROUTER netduma r 2 I CAN'T LOG IN at 192.168.77.1 the connection is not private and it hangs i know what that means but i can't get around it the rest is fine I know the neduma well I've tried everything I also think a static ip on the router I changed 3 lan cables I've been trying for 5 days, I gave up latest firmware 3.3 280
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted May 19, 2023 Administrators Posted May 19, 2023 Can you provide a screenshot of what you see when trying to access please? You have Early Access so it's worth trying a newer version from there to see if that helps - we posted a new one today.
agostinotar Posted May 20, 2023 Author Posted May 20, 2023 after 5 days solved the problem that r2 did not connect to the ps 5 via lan AFTER ALL POSSIBLE ATTEMPTS passed as firmware 3.3.280 was the latest firmware 3.2.453 is now fine if you want advice after a firmware update always do a factory reset sometimes even 2 I read in the forum that it is not needed I recommend it also a reset of the pc lan solved the problem (the connection is not private) it doesn't let me open dumaos I use windows11 I put the v link of the explanation https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G2wtse9LFMo&t=165s I recommend creating a restore point first I would like some advice on the release of the latest firmware r2 3.3.480 or already downloaded you suggest I install it I'm a bit reluctant
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted May 20, 2023 Administrators Posted May 20, 2023 Glad to hear you got it sorted, thanks for posting the solution. Perhaps hold off for the moment as some people haven't been able to downgrade
