Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted May 8, 2023 Administrators Share Posted May 8, 2023 Do you have Smart Connect enabled or have you disabled that so you can manually choose between 2.4 & 5GHz? Try these suggestions: Use a WiFi analyzer to find the least congested channel and change to that Ensure it's in an elevated position - not on a metal surface Ensure there aren't any electrical / wireless devices e.g headphones etc within close proximity ~3 feet if possible Set the antennae to this position _ | | _
getelectrocuted
No, this is an ongoing issues with the .64 firmware. Please use .52 This is probably the last stable firmware they have released. On the .64 firmware, the 2.4 GHz network can never connect. Laptops, Phones, Gaming Consoles just wouldn't connect at all... Went back to the .52, everything works as smoothly. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted May 11, 2023 Administrators Share Posted May 11, 2023 There is a new firmware now, .68 that is worth trying: https://kb.netgear.com/000065541/XR1000-Firmware-Version-1-0-0-
