Good evening! out of necessity I need to connect another router upstairs due to poor wifi signal. currently I am conspired like this: main router ASUS ax6000 —> R2. all devices are connected only to R2. I was thinking of connecting in cascade to R2 XR1000, in which mode do I connect it? do I set the SSD WIFI? of R2? Would R2 then be able to correctly classify DPI packets coming from xr1000? to xr1000 I would connect 2 Smart TVs and to need smartphone and iPad. Thank you

I would suggest putting the XR in AP mode, then the R2 will be able to control all the devices as though they were connected directly to the R2

OK perfect! do I assign a different name to the Wi-Fi network than R2?
