Unable to login due to forgotten username

I restarted my router yesterday and was unable to login due to forgotten username. During the initial setup my router administrator login details had a default username (which i forgot) and password which are the numbers located at the back of my router. I did not create my own username and password and kept those login details as they are. I tried doing a hard reset but it did not work. Does anyone know the default username in the initial setup ? if not, then would buying a new router take me back to the initial setup or will i still face the same issue?

The default credentials for the interface login are admin & password if that doesn't work then hold the reset button for 30 seconds, then wait 2 minutes before accessing the interface then try the default credentials again and it should work.
