do i need to have isp in bridge mode for geo-filter to work??

i live in the UK and have BT halo package, the isp hub does not support bridge mode and wondering i it was essential for geo-filter to work correctly? or if anyone knows a way around this, i have tried everything and get better ping from my usual isp and the geo-filter doesnt seem to work, need some assistance

if your netduma is behind your ISP Modem/Router you only need bridge mode for any rules you set up in the duma OS, Put the duma router in DMZ on the ISP's modem/router if there is not a bridge mode

duma router in dmz? no idea how to do this?

Good advice above, all you'll need to do is put the IP in the DMZ that the hub gives the R2 so you'll see that on the hub attached devices page, alternatively you can find it on the R2 System Information page.

If you can't find it or it doesn't have it then you can make a port forwarding rule on the hub for the R2 doing ports 1-65535 TCP/UDP to the same IP address you would use for the DMZ.
