Rylo
Whenever I connect my xr1000 to pppoe and DNS is set to automatic the primary dns is always my modems IP instead of the actual primary dns that my modem uses, should I just leave it like that or switch to to manually and put the correct primary dns in? Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 7, 2023 Administrators Share Posted February 7, 2023 That's fine to leave it that way, you would see the same behavior on a device connected to the XR for example, the DNS would be the XR LAN IP. It has to go through the device first so that's why it appears there.

So for my PC and PS5 would I put the primary DNS as the modems IP or put the actual primary dns
