XR500 Can't switch language to Traditional Chinese

Hello every!I have some issue to change gui language.

It's only select Tradition Chinese will prompt window "nil" or "Can't change Language"

Model:Netgear XR500(from China)

Firmware Version:2.3.2.134

Language Gui:1.0.0.325

I would try to use brower(Windows Edge)/nmrpflash/TFTP to update Firmware,but Language still in 1.0.0.325.

And I turned on Telnet and use MobaXterm login to change tmp/language_file first title "PR" to "US",but after reboot it will change to "PR"

so,It can't to change region? and can't select Tradition Chinese? or how to fix it?

Hello, welcome to the forum!

You're not able to change the region unfortunately. I think this is something that we'll have to pass on directly to Netgear as there is not much troubleshooting we can do here. The fact that it is coming up with nil means there is a problem with the language file.

Today I found it,if XR500 firmware version 2.2.1.10 use "Check for new version from the Internet." will show :

New GUI Language Version V1.0.0.392

But when I agree Yes to update firmware will show:

Quote

MD5 verify error

When I google this issue,it only use MANUAL firmware update to bypass error?
