Internet Light Orange

Hi guys need advise i have a virgin Hub 4 and Nighthawk XR500, last week i had to take out of modem mode as virgin updating the router, they didnt so i put it back into modem mode but now for some reason i have Internet but my internet light on the nighthawk isd Amber and i dont have wifi, i have tried everything.  if i take it out of modem mode all ok but i cannot access the Nighthawk router to change anything.

Any help. cables have not been change or the virgin Hub and as far as i am aware the virgin guys didnt even touch  my PCV or router

Modem mode can be finicky in my experience, however, once you've put it in modem mode reboot the XR and wait 2 minutes, then it should get internet

Done all that mate, i get internet with wired but no wifi and the light stays orangew also i cant get into netgear login page at all

I'd recommend using VM in router mode with the XR in its DMZ, that's what I always did and found it to be more stable. By don't have WiFi do you mean it doesn't appear in WiFi lists or you can connect but no internet?
