AllAboutTheHero Posted November 19, 2022 Share Posted November 19, 2022 I have the R1 and since I got my new xfinity service I'm not getting my full download speeds with the Duma R1. Here is all the trouble shooting I've done. Maybe a support agent can jump on and fix what's going on. 1) When plugged into my xfinity router directly I get 1000 download and 25 upload. When I'm plugged into the R1 however my speed is about 500 download and 25 upload. 2) I put my xfinity modem into "bridge mode" 3) I turned off IPV6 for both LAN & WifiZ 4) Turned off QOS & Made sure share access was checked for both upload and download Is there anything else I need to do? I've looked up and down settings but not finding anything else. About to give up and just use my xfinity modem as a modem & router again. It's the only way I get my full download speed since getting their 1000 download plan. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 19, 2022 Administrators Share Posted November 19, 2022 It’s very unlikely you’ll get your full speeds through the R1 to be honest. Did you disable QoS from the Congestion Control menu ? Disable the protection options in WAN Settings and that will boost it a little. Also are you testing on Benchmark or speedtest.net?
