I guess I am kind of what are the pros and cons of both routers. Wifi is not an issue for me because I have a couple of Unifi AP's. Thanks in advance!
Netduma Liam Posted October 26, 2022 Posted October 26, 2022 Welcome to the forum! The R2 is our in-house router, whereas the XR1000 is a part of the NETGEAR Nighthawk Pro Gaming line-up. We're partnered with NETGEAR and have put DumaOS on every router in the NPG line-up. The R2 get's firmware updates sooner than the XR1000 as it's what our developers write and test all of our newest features on. However, the XR1000 has more powerful hardware and Wi-Fi. As you say WiFi isn't going to be a problem for you, maybe the R2 would suffice for you! crunkjuice1 and SoCal_Gator1391 2
