Cajun72
Just wondering which traffic prioritization settings were better for COD MW on PS4 and wanted a better understanding of the results please. I see previously someone posted start/end 3074 and same for 3075 both UDP only Then I see Fraser posted these settings: Source 1 - 65535 Destination 1 - 65535 Protocol TCP/UDP Tried both settings for just a couple of games and as you can see download packets on 3074 are very low compared to upload. The second attachment you see much higher for both, so wondered what sort of results are ideal or is there something I should be tweaking?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 26, 2022 Administrators Share Posted June 26, 2022 I wouldn't use that rule you mentioned me saying, I usually only suggest using that for some sort of test, not as a way to generally prioritize the game. Try source 1-65535 and destination as 3074-3075 instead and it should be better. Cajun72
Cajun72
Ok thanks Fraser I'll try that. By the way which is best -for wireless type if connected by ethernet - normal/WAN or Gaming/voice? and will this work for other games/consoles e.g. splitgate or Halo on xbox series x I'm on R2 3.2.453 firmware
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 26, 2022 Administrators Share Posted June 26, 2022 For ethernet use Normal, for WiFi use Gaming/Voice, if they use the 3074/3075 port it will work but you may need to adjust/add another rule depending on their main ports Cajun72
