I might sound stupid but when my wife is done working from home should i disable it.Because i  always left it on . I'm using the r2 with the newest firmware

You can do, but there's no need to.

If there's no Work From Home traffic on the network the rule won't be doing anything, so it won't cause any issues for gaming.
