Comp0za
why didn't Netgear include the fix in their release notes? Some people have abandon thier the XR500 router because of the DHCP issue, and I would like to spread the info about it is really indeed fixed with latest update. Ever since the day Netgear released the update 2.3.2.134, (April 12) I haven't had any internet disconnections since then. Not even once.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 7, 2022 Administrators Share Posted June 7, 2022 Hard to say, could be they forgot to add it to the change log or perhaps a specific fix wasn't included but the changes made inadvertently fixed it - glad it's all working for you! DanologyUK
I wouldnt say it's "fixed". I had frequent disconnections and router lock ups until i set my DHCP to start at .50 and then statically assigned IPs of my devices.
