why didn't Netgear include the fix in their release notes? Some people have abandon thier the XR500 router because of the DHCP issue, and I would like to spread the info about it is really indeed fixed with latest update. Ever since the day Netgear released the update 2.3.2.134, (April 12) I haven't had any internet disconnections since then. Not even once.

Hard to say, could be they forgot to add it to the change log or perhaps a specific fix wasn't included but the changes made inadvertently fixed it - glad it's all working for you!

I wouldnt say it's "fixed". I had frequent disconnections and router lock ups until i set my DHCP to start at .50 and then statically assigned IPs of my devices.
