DHCP on modem

Hi team. Just i want to know do i disable the DHCP on my modem. I did it before and my games run crazy smooth. So is it good whats your opinion ?

Also i disable :

Wifi, upnp, all walls and give the DMZ to R2

Disabling DHCP does not have an affect on your connection, likely what happened is it kicked everyone off the internet, that's why it played better. It is not a good idea to disable it without setting static/reserved IPs first otherwise devices won't get a connection. The other settings are fine to do.

So if i add only R2 ip on modems static pool and close dhcp, does it work better @fraser ??

If you only plan to have the R2 connected to it then you can do that but it's unnecessary to disable DHCP

@frasereverything is on R2. i did it and feel soo good soo smooth on fps games. When dhcp is on dont know why i ve so much ghost bullets in games. Im testing it for 2-3 days and like i said its oke. Thank you.
